The Ilta bag in the Iso Ruutu pattern is made of cotton, which features two layers of fabric bonded together. The small bag has two handles.

Checks, along with stripes, have always been an integral part of the world of Marimekko patterns. Annika Rimala, too, designed several distinct check prints, like Iso ruutu (large check), during her career with Marimekko.
